Dale

As the newly appointed Director of Media for Marine Reach Vanuatu and the Family Care Center, Dale has a pivotal role in pioneering long-term initiatives.

His responsibilities span a broad spectrum, from accompanying medical outreach teams to remote islands and documenting these missions to leading the development of the media department for the organization, primarily focusing on the FCC in Teoma Valley Vanuatu from this coming August of 2024.

In addition to these duties, Dale will lead the media department in showcasing the work of MRV ( Marine Reach Vanuatu ) and FCC ( Family Care Centre), raising awareness locally and internationally. Fostering relationships on both fronts, his ambition extends to nurturing a proficient media team within Marine Reach FCC for sustained impact. Looking ahead, Dale envisions building and nurturing partnerships with the government and anticipates contributing to the local education landscape by offering film and media instruction in universities and schools.

Dale has diligently pursued extensive training over the past 15 years, enriching his knowledge through engagements with various Bible schools, churches, the “University of the Nations”, and hands-on experiences with YWAM on a global scale.

A filmmaker and photographer driven by a desire to effect positive change, Dale is a hands-on innovator with a diverse skill set, unhesitant to dive into challenging situations.

His leadership is characterized by a servant’s heart, willing to go the extra mile for causes and communities he passionately supports. Dale, a devoted father, views the transition to Vanuatu as not just a project but an opportunity to spend more quality time with his children and wife, Melissa. He believes that the traditional 9-5 work structure is not their calling; rather, they are meant to integrate their family life with their work and ministry, investing in their children’s growth and setting an example for them. Dale desires to be a joyful and present father, not one who is overwhelmed and drained by work. After experiencing the toll of a demanding schedule for too long, Dale and his family have realized that their true calling lies in missions and ministry as a united family.
