Our Family

We are the Blumberg-Booth Family, a family of seven. We see ourselves as a Team where everyone looks out for one another.

It is often very wild and loud, there´s always something going on in our home. But we wouldn’t want it any other way. We´ve been blessed with five amazing world changers who all thrive to make this world a better place through their own God-given gifts. We have an explorer in our midst, an artist, an inventor/ entrepreneur, we have a singer and a writer and we have a little crawler who is just exploring the world. Together we are going on a big new adventure.

This coming Summer of 2024 we are embarking on a journey from our home in Siegen, Germany, leaving behind family and friends to pursue a profound calling. We are on a mission to help transform a nation through God’s love and medical help & education.

We are members of the global organization Youth With A Mission

This step of us moving our entire lives to one of the remotest island groups on the planet represents our greatest adventure and long-term commitment. This long-term move is one of the biggest steps of faith we´ve ever experienced, filled with many sacrifices, yet we eagerly anticipate what is to come and our life in Vanuatu.

Our Current Needs / How You Can Help Us as a Family
As we start this journey, there are important costs like flight and shipping costs that need funding as of May 2024. Right now, we still need to cover 60% of our monthly expenses to ensure a smooth transition to our new life in Vanuatu. Your generous contributions make a big difference in supporting our work and leaving a lasting impact. We can’t do this without you and would be so blessed for you to partner with us.

For more details on what our Family needs are to enable our project to succeed, please check out the list we’ve provided [here].

We’re truly grateful for your partnership and dedication to our cause.

What our children say about moving to Vanuatu

I can´t wait to call Vanuatu my home. Since I was little I knew that I was called to the Pacific Islands. Living in Hawaii impacted and changed my life forever and it feels like God used that time there to lead us to Vanuatu. Seriously can´t wait !

L. Age 14

At night before we pray we always talk about Vanuatu and Efate, I have seen our new house and now I just want to go there. I can´t wait to learn how to spearfish. And catch geckos again like I did when I was a baby in Hawaii…and I want to cook crayfish with dad.

B. Age 6

To be honest I have very mixed feelings…I don´t want to leave Germany, I love my life here and will miss my friends, aunt and grandparents, I don´t know what else to say.

K. Age 12

Every day I wonder and imagine how everything will be in Vanuatu, the sun, the sand, the plants and animals. I am very excited but will really miss my friends here in Germany.

F-A Age 8

“Can´t say much other than jajajaja ja and Mama & has the sweetest giggle” -probably would have alot to say if she knew we were leaving! We are all anticipated to see if her first steps will be on the Island or here in Germany before we leave. It´ll be awesome to hear what she has to say about growing up on the Islands of Vanuatu.
