Marine Reach, which is headquartered in New Zealand, has been actively serving the Pacific Islands with their Medi-Ships since 1990.
In 2016, Marine Reach established its physical location in Teoma Valley Vanuatu, by building the Family Care Centre, while continuing its service to the region with the larger vessel called The Pacific Hope. With a primary focus on establishing sustainable medical assistance and services for the most vulnerable on Efate Island, The Pacific Hope was recently deployed to the Caribbean. The Family care Center is currently providing an extensive amount of medical help espacially to the rural villages of Efate Island. Marine Reach FCC equipps and educats on their own premisis and also in Schools and various other initiatives.
“Furthermore, Marine Reach FCC hosts international YWAM teams for their outreaches, with a particular focus on providing medical assistance to the islands. Whenever there are sufficient medical staff and volunteers available, island outreaches are organized to provide medical care and aid to villages and tribes. This underscores our commitment to establishing a consistent and dependable flow of medical professionals, enabling us to anticipate the level of medical assistance we can provide each year.”
To provide further clarity: Marine Reach Vanuatu has initiated the development of the Family Care Centre, concentrating on its growth and fostering relationships with the local Ni-Vans. Additionally, it serves as a training hub for both local and international individuals seeking education and skills enhancement (refer to the videos below).”
